I have these yearly predictions:
Teixeira: .298, 29 HRs, 86 runs, 101 RBIs, 1 steal
Ankiel: .268, 32 HRs, 78 runs, 91 RBIs, 3 steals
Prince: .294, 49 HRs, 116 runs, 129 RBIs, 4 steals
In other words, I like it. You took advantage of the fact that Prince started slow and Teixeira is on a pace he can't keep up. Nicely done. The only way I wouldn't like it is if you were in a really deep league and Ankiel was an OF starter and you had absolutely no depth after that. Or if your team is really weak on power beyond Tex and Ankiel. Other than that, I like the value.
So to make up for Ankiel's loss, you only need an OF replacement to hit like .280 with 12 HRs, 60 runs, and 70 RBIs. Odds are, you have someone alot better than that to use in his place. Good trade.
